MATCHING FUNDS CHALLENGE
Pet Food Pantry
When we said big things are happening at 365 Pet Connection, we were right. Our wonderful friends Geneva and Roger Dalton have generously offered a $5000 matching funds challenge to help stock our Pet Food Pantry shelves. We currently distribute free pet food each month through the Cupboard at Cottonwood Shores as well as supply pet food to our local Meals on Wheels. Recently, we have been approached to assist another food pantry in our community. We would love to be able to help them but need to be able to sustain our pet food donations. Your contributions will help your neighbors feed their pets, keeping them in their homes and out of our local shelters. All monetary donations collected from June 1 through the end of August will be matched dollar for dollar up to $5000, giving your donations double the impact.
Geneva Dalton explains, “Roger and I both love animals and we try our best to support several shelters in different cities and especially the Hill Country. When I read about the 365 Pet Connection food distribution for cats and dogs so their owners would not have to give them up, I thought this was a genius solution that touched our heart strings. We were so impressed with the idea that we thought it would be wonderful to collect funds for that purpose...so ...the matching funds program was born. We hope we can raise $10,000 dollars to get this program going in the Hill Country.”
Matching funds donations can be made through PayPal by going to our website at www.365petconnection.com or by mailing your check to 365 Pet Connection, 124 Hills Court, Horseshoe Bay, TX 78675. You can also drop it off at ValueBank Texas next to ACE Hardware in Horseshoe Bay. Please designate that you would like your donation to go toward the pet food pantry. We also happily accept bags of dog and cat food that can be dropped off at ValueBank Texas or Horseshoe Bay Chiropractic.

Our Mission
To save the lives of adoptable animals that are at risk of being surrendered to shelters, living in overcrowded open admission shelters or who are in otherwise life-threatening situations by specifically forming connections and working with other non-profit animal welfare groups We accomplish this through partnering with other rescues, through transport, fostering, adoption, re-homing and social media postings. Our Vision With Texas seeing record-breaking numbers on shelter surrenders and dumped pets, we are refocusing our efforts to try to keep animals out of shelters and in their own homes and to get animals already in shelters OUT. We are working on both fronts by starting a pet food pantry and by transporting cross-country to other rescue groups. |

We have closed out our 2023 statistics and since inception in September of 2013 we have saved 2368 lives through transport, foster, adoption, and re-homing.
