Saving just one animal won’t change the world,
but surely the world will change for that one animal…
but surely the world will change for that one animal…
New Pet Food Pantry Opening
365 Pet Connection is excited to announce we are starting a pet food pantry in conjunction with the Cupboard at Cottonwood Shores. Lack of access to affordable pet food is a common reason for surrendering pets to shelters. By offering a food bank, we can help alleviate a significant barrier to pet ownership and ultimately reduce the number of pets being surrendered.
Our friends at ValueBank in Horseshoe Bay have generously offered to accept donations of dog and cat food at their location 9714 FM 2147 Suite 102. Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. They will accept monetary donations as well.
Our pet food of choice is Purina One Dog Chow and Purina Cat Chow, however, anything you would like to donate will be much appreciated. If you are an Amazon shopper, you might find it easier to order online any of the food found on our wish List.
Monetary donations can be made through PayPal by going to our website at www.365petconnection.com or we will gladly accept checks mailed to 365 Pet Connection, 124 Hills Court, Horseshoe Bay, TX 78657. Please designate whether you would like your funds to go toward the Pet Food Pantry or to the 365 Pet Connection general fund.
Distribution will be on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at the Cottonwood Shores Civic Center at 4111 Cottonwood Drive from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. The next distribution date is November 8. For more info about the Cupboard at Cottonwood Shores check out their link at https://www.cottonwoodshores.org/food-bank-is-officially-open/
By keeping pets with their owners in times of financial hardship, we preserve the precious bond between humans and their pets. Pets provide companionship, love, and emotional support and separating them due to temporary challenges can be devastating for both the pet and the owner. By offering assistance through food banks and other resources, we can help families facing difficulties keep their beloved pets.
Shelters are bursting at the seams and people continue to surrender or dump animals they can no longer care for. At 365 Pet Connection we want to be pro-active. Our focus is to do whatever we can to keep pets out of the shelters and once they are there, to get them out as quickly as possible through transport to other rescue groups or to permanent homes. Stay tuned for more info on the transport plan.
Taking on this new challenge will require time and effort and we will learn as we grow. If you would like to be part of our pet food pantry from ground zero or if you are interested in volunteering in other capacities, please contact us at 365petconnection@gmail.com

Our Mission
To save the lives of adoptable animals that are at risk of being surrendered to shelters, living in overcrowded open admission shelters or who are in otherwise life-threatening situations by specifically forming connections and working with other non-profit animal welfare groups We accomplish this through partnering with other rescues, through transport, fostering, adoption, re-homing and social media postings. Our Vision With Texas seeing record-breaking numbers on shelter surrenders and dumped pets, we are refocusing our efforts to try to keep animals out of shelters and in their own homes and to get animals already in shelters OUT. We are working on both fronts by starting a pet food pantry and by transporting cross-country to other rescue groups. |

WE DID IT!! 2368 LIVES
SAVED
