Re-Homing Policy
The mission of 365 Pet Connection is to keep pets out or shelters. In the event that you must re-home your pet we offer the following service. Because of the time involved in networking, posting and follow-up we would appreciate a minimum donation of $20 if possible so we can continue to save the lives of animals in need.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO REHOME YOUR PET:
· Please provide us with pictures, a short bio, including health and personality information, a video if possible, and ALL pertinent contact information such as phone numbers and emails depending on how you would like to be contacted.
· You will be directed to post flyers at local veterinary clinics.
· You are responsible for evaluating the prospective home and placement of the pet since you know your pet best.
· For information regarding how to screen potential applicants please go to our adoption criteria section for helpful hints.
WHAT 365 PET CONNECTION WILL DO FOR YOU:
· Upon receipt of picture and bio, we will post on Petfinder, our website, social media resources such as Facebook in several locations.
· We will direct you to other rescue groups or no kill shelters that may be of assistance.
· We will comb our network resources to come up with any possibility to help find your pet a home.
· 365 Pet Connection is simply helping you to reach interested adopters.
· Foster care is an occasional option but you would be directed to sign an owner surrender form once it has been agreed upon that a space has opened up. In this instance we will ask for a larger donation or surrender fee.
