MEET BARTON Barton is part of the Senior Special Adoption Program at Hill Country Humane Society where he has been living while waiting for his forever family to take him home. Through the end of June all animals 5 years or older can be adopted for only $55. This big boy weighs 77 pounds and is approximately 7 years old. He is lab/possibly border collie mix. Barton is heart worm NEGATIVE, neutered, and up to date on all shots. He will be microchipped and registered with AVID at the time of adoption. Shelter staff says, "Barton is a sweetie. He is great with other dogs, keeps his kennel clean, walks on a leash, is very playful and goofy. He knows how to sit and wants to shake hands all the time."
