Our transport program is really making great strides in the lives of so many deserving animals. Transport to the no kill shelter is a major part of what we do to get animals out of high risk areas and into safe environments. We transfer these animals from our local "open admission" shelter to no-kill shelters and other rescue groups that we partner with and all of these animals are altered and adopted into loving homes. Please enjoy the slideshows below.

TRANSFERS TO TEXAS HUMANE HEROES
We are very excited to announce our new collaborative effort with a wonderful organization Texas Humane Heroes, located in Central Texas. Our transport program continues to grow thanks to the efforts of no-kill shelters such as this. With their help we are able to save so many more lives and these deserving animals are able to get spayed/neutered prior to adoption into their forever homes. This is the only way we will be able to slow down the numbers of unwanted and abandoned animals who face an uncertain future when surrendered to animal control (the pound) or high risk shelters. Please enjoy the slideshow for our transports to Texas Humane Heroes.

Jager, now called Kaos has apparently gotten a "Cougar" Girlfriend - Trinity - (who is a couple years older than him) AND his Soulmate - Alexis! AND HIS FUREVER HOME!!!!! Thanks Spradley's for giving this guy the perfect place!
|
Kylie found her furever home and her new Dad is really cool! She gets to go on helicopter rides and gets to help entertain all the people who come out and watch her Dad's demonstrations.
Oh and she gets to share french fries and hot dogs and other stuff the people give her while she's "working" the crowds! |
Steffi in her Furever home with her new family! The family all LOVE Steffi and she is getting along great with everyone!
REFERRALS & TRANSFER TO OTHER RESCUE GROUPS
All border collie puppies that were found under heavy utility poles were saved and placed for adoption at the San Antonio Animal Defense League.. All have now gone to their permanent homes.
Pinball was happily accepted by our friends at Homeward Bound Rescue even though she was heart worm positive and had a couple other minor health issues that were easily treatable. Animals with heart worms do not stand a chance in most open admission shelters so you can imagine how excited we were to get her to a safe haven. Thank you, JoEllen!
