IN LOVING MEMORY of TIGGER
A generous donation on behalf of Sharon's companion Tigger was made by good friend Joan. Thank you for helping 365 Pet Connection continue to help animals in need.
IN LOVING MEMORY OF SHEENA
Sheena RAN over the Rainbow Bridge May 22, 2015. She was truly doted on and loved and will be terribly missed. The kitchen floors won't ever be as clean since she was a messy drinker and her family had to leave towels down to mop up the water every day. And the Carlson's thank the Bishop's for their donation to 365 Pet Connection in remembrance of Sheena.
IN LOVING MEMORY OF JORDAN
Jordan went over the Rainbow Bridge to be with his Cousins, Cheyianne and Bozli who are taking good care of him. Jordan was so sweet and he LOVED hunting and stalking his mice and he loved his Mommy - Danelle for 18 wonderful years!
IN LOVING MEMORY OF CHICA
Chica was born in Gregory Texas and was one of nine and the runt of the litter. She was sweet and so loving and she loved to greet anyone and everyone. She always made them smile. If anyone was having a bad day they would stop by just to see Chica so she could lift their spirits. Chica was our best friend and we adored her.
The Jellison family generously donated to our effort in the memory of their beloved dog - Chica.
IN LOVING MEMORY OF ELLIE MAE
Ellie Mae is a very special girl who was part of Cici's (one of our founder's) pack. She was a Delta therapy dog, a blood donor for dogs who needed surgery but most of all she was a best friend to me and the rest of the Ely Pack.
I will miss you,
The following poem is inspired by a Norse Legend
By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run,
When their time on earth is over and done.
For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.
No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.
They romp through the grass, without even a care,
Until one day they start, and sniff at the air.
All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,
Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.
For just at that instant, their eyes have met;
Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,
The time of their parting is over at last.
The sadness they felt while they were apart,
Has turned into joy once more in each heart.
They embrace with a love that will last forever,
And then, side-by-side, they cross over… together.
